The Brady Quinn-Tim Tebow switcharoo may continue Saturday night, but it may not mean much in the big picture.

The Denver Post reports all indications are that Tebow will spell starter Kyle Orton on Saturday night against visiting Seattle. Orton and the starters could play in the third quarter, so there likely won’t be a lot of playing time for both Quinn and Tebow in this game.

The newspaper reports that having Tebow spell Orton may be simply so Tebow gets some work and that it won’t mean Quinn has lost his standing as Denver’s backup even though Tebow has gotten a little more work with the second team this week. Denver coach John Fox said this week that he wanted to get Tebow more work in the rest of the preseason.

Last week, against Buffalo, Quinn threw 16 passes and Tebow threw just two passes. Quinn was the backup quarterback in that game. He did nothing to show he’s not ready for the job. Tebow spelled Orton in the first preseason game.

Of course, Tebow can make a case for himself if he plays well against the Seahawks.

In my eyes, Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow could either one take the role as Starting QB. I believe Tim Tebow would be more successful, but Kyle Orton will take the job.

Orton will start off bad, and they'll give the starting position to Tebow about 5 games into the season.

I agree with Batman. Orton gets the nod early but struggles, and Tebow is named the starter about five games in.

I think by this time next year, Tebow will be at least a top 10 QB.
